Changing software

A considered approach to data migration

We review the volume, format and source software before confirming what can be moved, the cost and the expected migration time.

01

Quoted according to complexity

Migration has a published starting price of €100 and is assessed case by case.

02

Source and volume matter

The timing depends on the amount of data and the platform it is exported from.

03

Review before work begins

TalumCore reviews the available information and confirms the timing before starting the migration.

Changing software

A migration starts with understanding the source data

Moving to new software is not simply a matter of transferring a patient list. Export formats, available fields, the volume of information and the source platform all affect what can be moved and how it needs to be prepared.

TalumCore treats migration as a tailored add-on. Before work begins, the team reviews the case and confirms the expected timing based on the available information.

  • Your current management software
  • Available export formats
  • Approximate volume of data
  • The information you want to retain

Indicative timing

How long can migration take?

TalumCore’s published information places the usual duration between 24 and 72 hours. This is a guide, not an automatic deadline: the volume of data and source software can change the timing.

The timing is therefore confirmed after reviewing the case. If continuity at your clinic depends on a specific date, raise it before agreeing to the move.

Important: Do not assume that every piece of data or document can be imported without reviewing its format first. The final scope and timing must be confirmed for your case.

Service cost

Pricing from €100, depending on complexity

  • Assessed according to complexity
  • Proposal agreed before work begins

Important: The published amount includes VAT.

Preparation checklist

How to prepare for the first review

Before contacting us, prepare an export sample without sending sensitive clinical information through channels that have not been agreed. A screenshot of the structure or a list of fields can help start the conversation without sharing real patient data.

It is also worth deciding what your team needs on day one: active patients, contact details, clinical histories, documents, future appointments or financial information. Setting these priorities makes the scope easier to define.

  • Name and version of your current software
  • List of fields that can be exported
  • Approximate number of patients and records
  • Existing documents or attachments
  • Future appointments that need to be retained
  • Planned date for the change

After the move

Validate the information your clinic needs

Once the scope is defined, agree which checks your clinic will run on priority data. Reviewing a sample of profiles, dates and fields helps identify format differences before the new platform becomes part of day-to-day work.

Migration does not remove the need to retain any files or exports that your clinic must keep under its own procedures and obligations.
